Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, or WCAG, 2.1 at Level AA. These are guides for making websites easier to use. We also use the newer WCAG 2.2 AA guides as we improve the site.
This is a goal. We have not confirmed that every part of the site meets it.
What we checked
On October 7, 2026, we reviewed 49 public page links we could find. We used a Wix scan, page checks, sample keyboard tests, text color checks, and a narrow mobile view.
This review did not include a full test with screen readers. It did not test every form state or every feature on other platforms.
What needs work
The blog comment form uses hints inside its name and email fields. Clear labels and email autofill need work. Some links and icons are small and may be hard to tap. We still need to check all focus states and screen-reader use.
Our next steps
We aim to review comment labels and tap areas within 30 days of posting this statement. If Wix limits a fix, we will seek help from Wix and keep an email path open. You can email Joe instead of using a comment form.
We will test new pages and our cookie controls before and after they go live. We will update this page as we learn more.
Other platforms
Our newsletter and paid content use Substack at read.abide4us.com. We also link to YouTube and other sites. Those services control their own tools. ABIDE controls the content it posts there, but cannot change all platform features.
Linked videos and PDFs were not part of this site’s page checks. If you need help with ABIDE content on those platforms, please contact Joe. We will work with you on another way to access it.
